When a married couple who are both diviorced from the spouses to whom they had previously been sealed to at one time want to pay their tithing now on line together as a couple but are only able to see their ex-spouses when they attempt to pay together is there a way to work around this issue or are they just going to have to wait until they go to the temple and are sealed to each other?

The Online Donation system does not determine a couple is married because of their sealing.

First, make sure their current marriage is correctly recorded on each of their membership records.

Next, as they go to Online Donations, they should only see their current spouse. It that is not the case, I would suggest that they both uncheck the box that allows their spouse to see their donations. After that change settles in, they should recheck the box, and then each give permission to their current spouse to see their donations. They should see their current spouse's donations once their current spouse allows them to see it.

If the steps of changing the viewing permissions in the previous paragraph do not work, I recommend they coordinate with the clerk and contact the Global Service Center to have them resolve the problem.

As a point of clarification, they will not actually "pay together". The donations will go to the record or one spouse or the other. They can check the box so that both names are on any reports, and as outlined above, they can allow each other to see the donations the other spouse has made.
