Opt-out of paper Donor Statements

Many organizations today have the option of allowing recipients of important tax documents to opt out of paper copies being sent to them. Now that the church has an online donation system and the ability for members to login and print their own donor statements, are there plans in the works to include an opt-out feature in the near future? This would allow clerks the ability to distribute donor statements to just the individuals who still prefer to receive paper copies of their donor statements.

A similar suggestion was made and discussed in this thread: https://tech.lds.org/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 51#p148314

The church seldom announces new features ahead of time so we have no idea if they are planning anything like that. You can make suggestions using the Feedback link on any lds.org page. The decision makers for this kind of thing don't read these forums.

In the mean time, anybody who doesn't need a paper copy can always just let their clerk know and they can just not print it.

Thank you eblood66 for the quick reply. That other thread was helpful, and I will make the suggestion on the feedback link. Thanks again.
