I have an out-of-unit calling. Is it possible to donate online to my home unit?

I'd think it would go to your home ward, but I've not seen anything proving it one way or another.

Russell, thanks for your reply. Is there a way to find out for sure?

When you go to the Donations web page and begin making a donation, the ward and stake that will receive the donation is in the top-right corner of the slip.

I am in an out of unit calling. My donations are processed through my home ward just as if I handed a paper tithing envelope to my bishop. You can confirm this just as williamjackson stated by viewing the stake and ward in the upper right corner of the virtual donation slip.

Essentially online donations are made through the unit in which your records reside. Of course you can make donations to other units for such things as missionary support.

That's helpful, JD. Thanks.
