Satellite receiver unresponsive
How does one solve a message on the TM manager that the satellite receiver is UNRESPONSIVE? Does it have any impact on receiving a regionalized signal?

Re: Satellite receiver unresponsive
At one time, TM had a message that indicated the "Unresponsive" status wasn't something to be concerned about.
At this point, the most likely cause is because the receivers haven't been connected to the buildings Internet. Instructions will be forthcoming on how to do this. It needs to be connected to the FAC subnet and assigned an IP, not the usual USER subnet.

Re: Satellite receiver unresponsive
We have six meetinghouses in our stake, and all six receivers show an "Unresponsive" status. I doubt the receiver in my meetinghouse will ever be connected to the firewall, since they are located in opposite corners of the building. The FM would either need to add a switch or run another very long Ethernet cable across the building. Highly doubtful.russellhltn wrote:At one time, TM had a message that indicated the "Unresponsive" status wasn't something to be concerned about.

I don't think the instructions have been published yet. You can get more details in this thread.
