Savior of the World

Our stake performed Savior of the World a few years ago and it was an amazing experience. That such a thing could be done so perfectly with all major aspects of the play set out (run through our church leaders and correlated) on the church website. I have thought for a long time that it would be great if someone with money could rent a major theater and then take this exact same template and put on a Savior of the World performance for the general public. Expanding on that thought, it would be very interesting to see someone have the stature and resources to book a weekend at a theater on Broadway then solicit volunteers from the highly skilled members of the church in New York. Considering the financial requirements of doing this, I suspect that if it were made known to the members of the church that this was happening, donations would come pouring in.
