How do I opt OUT of the Beta Directory? I joined just to see what was available, but now the stinking Map has taken over the Directory, and I can't get to the information I need.

As a Website Admin, I was able to upload photos for other members until last week. Something has changed in the Website Admin privileges, but the support folks at HQ have not been able to help. (They referenced the fact that Website Admin isn't in the Access Table, and thought it was a custom calling.)
Has anyone else had Website Admin photo upload privileges restricted in the last 2 weeks?

I believe that is no longer beta and has been released generally. There is probably no way to go back to the old directory.

I can't say for certain but I don't think the new directory has the option to upload photo's for anybody but your own household. At least as a clerk, I can't find any option for that in the directory except for my own household. It doesn't look like the help system has been updated for the new directory.

LCR now has the option to upload and manage photos but currently that appears to be limited to bishopric, clerks and executive secretary.

What information do you need that is not in the new Directory?

It's in his second post. The Ward Website Admin can no longer upload photos.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

So we can better help you, please edit your Profile to include your general location.

Leaders cannot update photos using the new Directory. Leaders with appropriate callings should manage photos using Leader and Clerk Resources.

And I'm guessing that "Leaders with appropriate callings" doesn't include the Ward Website Admin?

At this point it appears that calling is no different than a ward calendar admin.

I find myself wondering, "What is a 'Ward Website Admin' anyway?" Wards no longer have their own websites so is there a need for a website admin?

In the original Local Unit Website (LUWS), there was a "website" that had all the tools in one place. Units even had a limited abilty to set up a a public-facing front page.

The calling came over for "2.0", and it had rights to Calendar, some rights to Directory, Lesson Schedule and Bulletins. But at this point, I think the only thing remaining is the Calendar, making it redundant with the Calendar Administrator.

I do not see the calling mentioned or even hinted at in the Handbook, making it one of the few (if only) callings in the standard position list not in the that official document. I could see having the calling for any approved presence for places like Facebook, but I question the wisdom of granting that calling full access to the calendar automatically by default.
