Hope Chest question

Postby deloresbirch » Tue Mar 17, 2015 7:58 pm

I paid $10.00 for Hope Chest Plus on January 7, 2015.

All the archived finding for temple work are gone when I go into my Hope Chest icon on tool bar.

I have an order # Who do I contact? Can't find help on Support@HopeChestSoftware.com

You'll need to look to the Hope Chest support team for help. I suppose it's possible that some other forum user might have some ideas for you, but since that's not official Church software, it's not very likely that you'll get help here.

So have you sent an email to Support@HopeChestSoftware.com? That seems the only way that company provides technical support.

This might be related to a problem I've seen on FamilySearch. Sometimes, when switching from "person" view to "tree" view, I'll end up in a tree with myself at the center instead of the person I was working on. It seems like some kind of URL re-direction that changes the PID in the process. If I paste the correct PID into the resulting URL, I'm taken to the view I wanted.
Have you searched the Wiki?
Try using a Google search by adding "site:tech.lds.org/wiki" to the search criteria.

I have found the support folks are very responsive for Hope Chest. I made a suggestion for a particular way I use it, and within 2 days they had made a slight software change the makes my searches much easier to manage.

I have not seen persons "drop off" the hope chest list, but when I re-search a line, the list will change (some will drop off and others may appear). That is most likely due to work being completed for individuals on my list (or they are reserved by others) and other individuals being added to the tree.
