Gospel Library Crashing

#1

Post by anthonybadillocampbell »

Every time I now try to open, it freezes my computer. I let it sit to give it the benefit of the doubt but nothing. I have a decent computer (running Windows 10) but I still have to force power down or else I can't use it. I have also tried deleting it and re-installing it. Anyone else having this issue or is it just me? Help!

There haven't been any other reports of this behavior, nor any similar to it. An app, especially a UWP app, should not be able to freeze a computer. If you can't even ctrl-alt-delete out of the app, this sounds more like failing or very low-quality hardware (like a low cache 5400rpm laptop drive, which you've said is not the case) than an app issue, likely a hard drive, as when the app first launches, it accesses the hard drive to load and update the books and annotations you've downloaded into the app.

Do you have a lot of books downloaded in the app?
