Night mode

App running on Win 8 laptop keeps reverting to night mode reguardless of setting.

Mostly likely you've enabled the Automatic Theme (Settings > Appearance > Automatic Theme), which automatically switches the app to night mode when it is dark around you. Turn it off and the theme should stay to what you set it to until you change it manually.
