goto page number feature

Postby russchar » Mon Sep 28, 2015 2:23 pm

A useful feature for any of the libraries with page numbers (scriptures, pmg, presidents of church) would be a simple "go to page number" function. Frequently while in a Sunday School, RS, or Priesthood class, the instructor using a printed book will tell the class to go to page number x. Those in the class with the printed version will usually find the page much faster than those using the electronic gospel library.

The implementation should be quite easy:
The feature would apply only to the currently open book. For example, if the Book of Mormon is open, then the page numbers would apply only to the Book of Mormon.
One touch of the option icon would open a scrollable list of page numbers. Selecting the page number would immediately take you to the page.
