No Sound System in Primary Room

There is currently no sound system in the Primary Room, although there is one in the Relief Society Room. We would like to get some sort of microphone and speaker for the kids to speak into, but have no idea what to buy. Suggestions? It would have to be a microphone/speaker system as there is NOTHING in the room to attach a mic to. Also, is this something that our auxiliary would need to build into a budget, or could a general stake or church fund pay for it, since there is no sound system in our room?

It is standard configuration for meetinghouses to have a PA system in the primary room. It is the responsibility of the FM Group to maintain it since it is, if installed, part of the building. However, there are some older buildings and some converted buildings that do not have a PA system. Your best option is to talk to you physical facilities representative, a high council member, and have him get with FM to see what can be done.
