Nook Scriptures?? Once downloaded, cant open

I hope this post is in the correct forum.
My Wife bought me a Nook Color.. I wanted it to have Scriptures downloaded.
I used this site to down load the Bible,BOM,Gospel Principles, and 2010 Conf,
But the only think I can open is the Manual.

I changed the file to .epub. What am I doing wrong??

I really dont want to pay the $10 for the B&N set. Lots of reviews says its not worth downloading..
