I was not certain where to post this suggestion. If this isn't the right place would someone please let me know where to post it? Thanks in advance.

I really enjoy studying using the Come Follow Me - For Individuals and Families manual. Unfortunately there is not a lot of room provided to write down thoughts, promptings, etc. It would be really nice if the CFM - FIF manual followed a similar format to the study section of the Addiction Recovery Program manual. Space is provided after each question or section for answers and thoughts to be written down.

This is as good a place as any until we determine more specifically what you are talking about. But in any case, please note that we are just a community of people who discuss things. If you want to make a formal request that will get to someone who can do something, you would need to use a Feedback link on LDS.org (soon to be ChurchofJesusChrist.org). In this case, you would go to Come Follow Me -- For Individuals and Families and find the Feedback link in the sidebar at the bottom left.

I'm guessing you are talking about the printed manual. At the beginning of each lesson, there are three full blank lines where you can record your impressions. But besides that, there are only occasional places where there is a small amount of extra space to write something.

If you use the online study tools, either on the website or the Gospel Library app, you have unlimited space to attach notes to each lesson where you can record your thoughts. That may not fit your study practices, but it's a thought you might consider.

Thanks for the reply. I know that online I can add notations, but I find that physically writing out the answers is more helpful to me.

My wife keeps a notebook with her study materials for this exact purpose. She can take as much space as she wants to record her thoughts on each lesson.

Different Suggestion for Printed Manual: Why the narrowest of gray fonts? Did anyone test this format with an array of readers from young to old? Did anyone realize that narrow gray on white is not good contrast and is more difficult to read? The Ensign's font is thicker and black, giving good contrast and is much easier on the eye. For next year, please use a better font.

This is feedback on the current Primary Come Follow Me, but they will be combined next year so I am posting this here. As a Sunbeam teacher, I always prepare the handout for the children because they love receiving something and it helps them be able to talk with their parents about what they are learning.

This week (ending Oct 8) in Ephesians there was a great graphic on putting on the armor of God. It included both a girl and a boy, which was great, but it only included one set of armor. In order to make one for each child in my class, I had to print one for each child and throw half away. This would be true for families with more than one child. It would have been so simple and more useful. to include 2 sets of armor. My suggestion is thinking through how classes or teachers would use these and provide a way to create multiples. Maybe have an option for individual and an option for one?

This isn't a big deal, but it would be helpful as future contact is created.
Thank you!

The forum is primarily user-to-user discussion and self help. We can discuss this here but that is it. There is very little chance the decision makers will see your post here. For feedback to those who make decisions regarding your suggestion should be sent through the feedback link found at the bottom of most Church website pages or the Help > Send Feedback feature in the mobile Gospel Library app.
