MLS and Ward Websites

Sorry if this is already out here. Does the ward website and MLS communicate automatically? Specifically the Leadership Directory.

No.
The only information that is updated on both systems is the membership data, and that comes from the membership database at CHQ.

And even with that, some of the membership information is from your LUWS profile instead of what's in MLS. For instance, you can have a preferred name that is different from any name in MLS; also, any email address in MLS is not transferred up to LUWS (Local Unit Web Sites).

When changes are made to membership information in MLS it will, or should, show up in the LUWS after the last MLS send/receive is made. This change is not immediate and may take some time. I would not expect changes made in MLS to appear any later than a week. They may appear in a few hours depending on which day and time of day that send/receive was made.
Leadership data is currently input by the LUWS administrator. There are requests to have connectivity between MLS and the LUWS leadership directory. You can view the update requests for the next revision of the LUWS at the

Thanks for all the help. Sometimes its easier to just ask rather than spend a couple of hours searching the wiki for the answers. Thanks again for your help everyone.
