Mission scripture preferences

We're getting scriptures for our boy and we don't know which kind to get. On my mission it was preferable to have a *good* carrying case and keep the triple separate from the Bible but maybe that preference has changed. What are your opinions? What did you have? Thanks!

Here are the options: zip-up case, other kinds of case, skip the case and use a quad with a snap. Quad vs triple+bible.

What I see the most among missionaries is a separate Bible and triple, with a thin zip-up case for each (fabric or leather).
