Does anyone know if the address normalization software (e.g., when requesting a new record) is something built in-house, or if there is a service used to provide this functionality?
The company I work for is looking for something like this to use, and so I am trying to find out if this is something that can be shared.

There are commercial products that do this. The US Post Office even has some products that can be used with restrictions.
