Does the church have any official icons that members can use when building links to LDS websites? It would be nice to have unique icons that we could use and others would recognize to the following:
- lds.org
- scriptures.lds.org
- mormon.org
We all recognize icons for Facebook, Google+, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc - similar icons for the LDS sites sure would be awesome.

Re: Standard Icons for LDS websites?
I agree with SLLOYD comments from 2012. Course have those two openers Scriptures him soon so forth, but if they are available I would like an icon on my desktop to go directly to LDS.org and Mormon.org. Rather than going through all the steps it would be nice to have those on her mobile devices to quickly make contributions or pay tithing. Just to step saving desk top apps. Could you refer me if those are available currently. I now go to WWW or google to enter Lds.org or mormon.org.

In Windows, that's a straight forward process.RobKB wrote:I would like an icon on my desktop to go directly to LDS.org and Mormon.org.
- Find a empty spot on your desktop
- Right-click and select "New"
- Pick "Shortcut"
- Enter the link to the website (such as https://lds.org/donation). Make sure to include the https or http. Click Next.
- Enter the text you want your shortcut labeled (Donation)
- Click finished.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

And after you create your shortcut, you can right-click on it, select Properties, and then the button to change the icon to a unique one you can easily spot.russellhltn wrote:In Windows, that's a straight forward process.RobKB wrote:I would like an icon on my desktop to go directly to LDS.org and Mormon.org.

That sounded great, but all I have is the standard windows icons. I want something like the Salt Lake Temple or the Angel Moroni.
Where do I get LDS like icons?

Re: Standard Icons for LDS websites?
If you do an internet search on "custom icons for windows" there is information on how to create your own windows icons that you can then assign to a web page shortcut. I agree it would be nice to have some already created and available for download from the church, but this is a user-to-user help forum. I suggest you post feedback on any of the church web pages describing what you are trying to do. It is my understanding that all feedback is read and passed to appropriate department to consider, though you may not receive a personalized response.

Re: Standard Icons for LDS websites?
I want to be able to post the new icon including the link to the Church of Jesus Christ . org website. When someone says, what church do you belong to? I want to post that icon that they can click on and go to the website. What is more practical?
