Ok, then I think the problem is getting you released from your prior stake callings. Usually releases happen either manually or when people move out of the unit. But from past issues, I think the system has a problem when the unit changes stakes. The release process isn't triggered.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

It's a long shot, but try signing into the Calendar system and going to subscriptions. They try the Newsletter again. For Calendar problems, this triggers the system in a way that lets it know the member actually moved. Perhaps that same trigger will help you with the Newsletter. Again, it's a long shot.

A couple of years ago my ward switched to a different stake and I had to be manually released from my stake calling in the previous stake. It was helpful having the overlap for a week or two.

If you can see yourself in your old stake in Leader and Clerk Resources, you may be able to release yourself.

I released myself, checked both LCR and CDOL and I am no longer listed, but now when I open the Newsletter, it only goes to the Stake Newsletter.... I'm sure it will all work out if I can be patient a little longer.
