Attachment problem

I have read all the posts on this forum related to attachment problems but none seem to match my problem.....when I click on Attachments, it will only link to my photos, which of course cannot be attached. I need to attach a PDF file. I am using an iPad and have tried different browsers with the same result. It may be that I am not doing something right....any ideas?

There are two functions: Insert image, found as a icon at the top of the editor; and attachments which is found as a function below the editor.

I believe insert image only allows photos. You'll have to use attachment for the PDF - assuming it's small enough to meet limitations of the newsletter.

Either way, you have to browse to the files you want once the window opens.

And that's my problem....I can easily insert photos into the article, but when I click on Add Attachment, it will only open my photos, no other files where I could find the PDF I want to attach.

Are you able to change the type of files you can select? Mine defaults to "All files".

Did you click on "ADD ATTACHMENTS"?

The Newsletter How-To Guide says:
"To add attachments, such as Microsoft Word or PowerPoint
documents, click Add Attachments. When attaching files,
you can select multiple documents to upload at once. You can
also drag and drop the files directly into the "Drop files here"
section. Attachments appear as links below the articles."

Forgive me if this is too obvious, but have you tried navigating to different folders? It might be that the default folder you are shown when you click "Add Attachments" is the photo where your photos are stored, but your PDF is in a different folder.

Where are your PDFs stored – in Dropbox or another app? iOS doesn't have its own browsable file structure.

I'm not an iOS expert but I don't think the Safari browser on iOS supports uploading anything other than photos.

Aebrown, I have tried to navigate to another file.....I have clicked on everything around Add Attachment and photos is still the only thing that will open.
Eblood, I tried Chrome, with the same result...I do have a couple more mobile browsers I can try....
