I'm still thinking that it's a corruption. If the articles in your newsletter are all text, you might try copying the text to another text editor, then deleting and recreating them.

Question: Can you create a new article, save it, then go back and edit it? This might prove that the existing articles are corrupted.

I have been using this program for almost a year. Now, suddenly, for the last two days, when I try to edit a post, I get the above-referenced error. I am NOT copying text from another source; I am entering it myself; it is not a corruption. When I started getting this message, I tried numerous work-arounds to no avail. The problem is definitely related to trying to edit.

We can pick away at this and never resolve it here. I suggest you contact your stake technology specialist (STS) and work with him. He may have to contact support.

Working with the Stake Newsletter.

I am getting the "Not Available" "This page is unavailable."

I created a new article without any problem.

Then I changed another article and tried to save it and got this error.
So I tried to save the Article that by just opening it and tried to save it without any changes and got the same error.

And yet there are many people who are able to edit Newsletter articles with no problem. I've edited several articles over the last few days (one this very morning) and they all saved just fine.

I haven't seen any factor yet that would explain why some see the error and some don't.

I was able to edit one article, but not others. Maybe it is a storage link problem on a certain device in the server farm.

I did try coping an article and creating a new one and it would not save the new one either.
So it is not a corruption issue. It is something with the save function. Either a bug in the code or a hardware error.

Are you using ampersands at all?
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

So we can better help you, please edit your Profile to include your general location.

I've used ampersands in both the title and body and see no problem.

If the problem seems to occur with particular content, then it seems to me that efforts should be made to narrow down the problem:
  • Copy the text from an existing article to a new article and see if it has the problem.
  • Gradually reduce the content in the existing article to see when the problem stops happening.
  • Start with a small, simple article to see if the problem exists. If it does, then the problem is almost certainly not content-related. If it does not, then gradually build up the content until the problem happens.
