Popups blocked? Even so, the site should not allow you to continue. (Alas, that does not always mean it actually works that way.)

It's not a popup at all. It's simply an element on the page that is hidden or shown by some javascript. The element appears within the normal flow of the page (as you can see in the image attached to techgy's post).
