Re: How do I add an image?
I would ask your ward clerk to make sure you are correctly listed as Website Adminisrator, the standard calling, and not a variation such as Web Administrator.....

Re: How do I add an image?
If you're able to edit an article, as it appears you can, then you should have the correct permissions. I've never heard of there being any "image" permissions for the Newsletter. I'm not at a Mac right now so I can't test.
You said you've tried Safari and FF. Have you tried Chrome? It's odd that you don't even see the upload image button.
If you still have problems I can try on my Mac sometime later this week. I know it won't be able to try it today.

That would be great if you could try on your Mac.mevans wrote:If you're able to edit an article, as it appears you can, then you should have the correct permissions. I've never heard of there being any "image" permissions for the Newsletter. I'm not at a Mac right now so I can't test.

I have not tried chrome yet and I really don't want to load it onto my computer right now. Yes as far as I can tell I have all the correct permissions etc to edit, add to, even add new publishers and administrators but form some reason the insert image icon isn't showing as should.

Re: How do I add an image?
I tried it out. I'm running OS X 10.6.8.
Here's what I found:
Safari (5.1.7): No image button
Firefox (20.0): image button
Chrome (26....): image button
Camino (2.1.2): does not work properly with newsletter (eternal spinning ball)
Opera (12.15): image button
I was able to successfully upload images from more than one browser.
I don't know if there are any settings/preferences in Firefox that might block this. I took a quick look and nothing seemed it would affect image upload.
I'm not sure what to suggest next. Which version of OS X are you running?

I updated Firefox to 20.0 and I now have an image button.mevans wrote:I tried it out. I'm running OS X 10.6.8.

Thanks to one and all for helping with this process.

Hooray! I'm glad it's working for you. Which version of Firefox were you using? When I tested this I found I was on FF 18, then I upgraded to 19 and then 20. I guess I've ignored updates on that machine for a bit (or else they're churning out updates faster than I can deal with them).gwish wrote: I updated Firefox to 20.0 and I now have an image button.
