I imagine this has been brought up before, but why does our non-member spouses show up in the directory with full names, not preferred names. We put preferred names in there and yet they only show for the member. In some cases, it is even more touchy.

Please advise.

Are you talking about the beta directory or the production one?

The current one.

The information for non-member spouses comes from the marriage information for the member. That information lists the full legal name and has no place for a preferred name for a spouse who doesn't have their own membership record. So the only thing the directory can show is the full name.
