Is there a way to upload the 2015 lessons (Teaching of the Presidents) directly into lesson schedules?
or does this need to be done manually, one lesson at a time?

It can be done all at once. See Setting Up Lesson Schedules in the help system for details. You may need to make an adjustment or two afterwards, but this will put a lesson on each 2nd and 3rd Sunday (possibly adjusted for events, if, for example, you have a stake conference on a 2nd Sunday).
