When attempting to print or to download the lesson schedule as a pdf file my Internet Explorer stops working. I have IE version 10.0.9200.16540.
Any solution known for this difficulty?
Thanks, Ed Rountree

I can confirm the problem for IE 10.09200.16540. I tested using several different parameters for the PDF file during both save and print operations. The result in all cases resulted in the "Internet Explorer has stopped working" error message. Both compatibility view and InPrivate browsing were turned off.

JD Lessley thank you for you kind response.
However, having spent about an hour searching the various sites for a solution or guidance I finally posted my need on this forum with the hope someone else had been confronted with the error and knew how to overcome it.
The challenge for many of us is exactly what to call the issue when looking in a Wiki or Tech site. I refer to it as a 'printing error' or 'internet explorer error'. The solution must to be defined under totally different terms because neither of terms turn up a reference or solution.
I still hope for guidance as to what I should do or if the issue is a more complex one with the site software.
Thanks in advance for any help offered.
Ed

The problem seems to be specific to IE10. I was able to use IE9, Chrome, and Firefox to print lesson schedules with no problems.

It's a hassle, but you could certainly use a different browser to print your lesson schedules. Unfortunately there are a few issues with the tools on LDS.org where a particular browser doesn't work properly. In those cases, the workaround is to use a different browser.

In the case of Internet Explorer, you might try using the Developer Tools (press F12) to temporarily set the Browser Mode and/or Document Mode to IE9. I don't have IE10 handy right now to test this, but it might be simpler than installing a new browser.

Using the IE9 mode worked!
Now we just wait for this issue to eventually be resolved (and announced) after greater problems in what I'm sure is a seemly endless list have been put to rest.
Thanks you.

I suggest submitting Feedback on the Feedback link to let people know of the problem with IE 10. You could even send a link to this discussion thread so you don't have to retype everything.

I just looked here at browser market share by version: http://www.netmarketshare.com/browser-m ... pcustomd=0

IE 10 is only 6%. For a while it was limited to Windows 8. Now that it's been released for Windows 7 (I believe it was late February), Microsoft is slowly rolling it out in Windows Updates for machines, so I imagine its marketshare will go up. That will probably encourage the church to fix problems such as this.

I believe from some posts elsewhere on the forums that most of the church's internal testing is done on Firefox Windows. Submitting your feedback through the feedback link is probably the best way to make sure they're aware of the problem and address it sooner rather than later.
