Events are not always saved.

Postby ldeaton » Sat Nov 10, 2012 10:07 am

When I put in an event, it will usually show up when I go back to Managing Lesson Schedules, but after I put in another event, the last one I put in will sometimes disappear, but not always...

Do you get any kind of error messages? If you are able to run Firebug in the Firefox browser that will reveal any "hidden" error messages. If we can get that information that will help us track down the cause. Thanks.

@ldeaton: You're newer here and haven't posted that much. I gather from the 3 posts you've made so far that you're trying to use various tools and run into problems when you use them and I don't think there is a resolution to any of the problems you've mentioned. You're likely a bit frustrated. LisaAn had a good suggestion, but I don't know if you're technical and would know how to follow her suggestion or if you are completely lost at following her advice. Please don't hesitate to tell us if you don't know how to follow her advice. There are friendly and helpful people here.

Can you tell what system you're using when you're creating events? From one of your other posts, I gather you have an iPhone and and iPad. I don't know if you're trying to do it from one of those or from a Windows or Mac computer. What I've seen is that sometimes different web browsers work a little better on certain processes. You might try some different web browsers (Internet Explorer [Windows only], Firefox, Chrome, Safari). If you're able to experiment a little and report your results, that can be helpful to people trying to reproduce the problem. If you can come up with a consistent scenario that reproduces the problem, it's generally much easier to fix it. Right now, it seems your problem is intermittent, and that's more difficult to resolve.
