New lesson schedules

Postby grode » Fri Aug 31, 2012 10:10 pm

The new lesson schedule is extremely hard to use. For example, the High Priest schedule shows the lessons from the manual but does not show the lessons for the TFOT Sunday. It is next to impossible to find the TFOT.

The fourth Sunday lessons for Teaching For Our Times come from the most recent general conference issue of the Ensign or Liahona. The specific conference address must be entered by either an administrator or the auxiliary presidency for the class. If they do not add the lesson for the fourth Sunday then the class lesson will indicate "New Lesson".

Currently any lesson not from one of the standard manuals will not have a link. But I find it quite easy to locate a conference address once I have the title.

You may want to talk to your High Priest Group Leader and ask him to have the class lesson schedule updated to include the TFOT that will be used on the fourth Sunday.

Have you tried finding your answer on the LDS.org Help Center page or the LDSTech wiki?

They plan to add the TFOT feature in the future. See Links to Conference Talks.
