I am the stake executive secretary so this may be an access issue, but if the stake could manage lesson schedules for all the wards, then events such as stake and general conferences could be added for everyone, thus eliminating duplicate effort since now each ward must enter that information individually.

Something similar to this has been discussed in other threads.

I would agree that there needs to be some sort of stake involvement into lesson schedules, particularly in adding events. From the church employee comments in the second referenced thread it sounds like the Lesson Schedules will continue to evolve with some future considerations for stake input where appropriate.
