waiting to view a course with no information

After creating and activating a course without any information for the weekly schedule, I went back to the main lesson schedule screen, and when I clicked on the course to view the lesson information for that week, the twirly exclamation marks showed up and just kept going and going. Is there a way to display a "No information available" notice instead of the twirly stuff?
