Just wondering if the attached apps are compatible to Chrome Cast?

Gospel Library is, not sure about MoChannel
“A long habit of not thinking a thing wrong, gives it a superficial appearance of being right, and raises at first a formidable outcry in defense of custom.”

Gospel Library is not one that would port over easily at present to Chromecast. Primarily because Chromecast is a video and audio delivery platform, much like Roku.

Roku and Chromecast are the top two in the video 'over the top' box battle, and Chromecast may well overtake Roku, even with less individual apps or channels, available channels are found at google.com/cast. And that may happen given it's only been around two years. A new feature is casting audio to speakers, and this spring a whole load of portable speakers from a variety of manufacturers with high quality audio are coming to market and will be compatible with Google Cast's audio setup.

For best results right now for Church media on Chromecast, use the Youtube posting of the same content (not possible in meetinghouses anyway right now due to Chromecast's internal DNS settings and the filtering out of Youtube). For the Mormon Channel radio streams, use the TuneIn app, all the Mormon Channel radio feeds are on that, Mormon Music Channel is 'Mormon Channel Music' and there are multiple postings of the Tabernacle Choir feed, most are ambiguous listings (not all info shown is correct or complete) so it may take trying one or two until you hit one that has the correct logo and info.

It should eventually be very easy for Church developers to optimize for Chromecast and for the rest of the Google Cast universe if this has not happened already for Mormon Channel, the SDK is freely available, and getting it up and listed on Google Play is a lot easier than it was with Roku I hear.

Again, I anticipate Chromecast to be the top seller shortly, but Roku has had a good lead for some time and it will likely remain very strong, within the top two or three over the top boxes. Amazon and one other will take a good share, but those others are more expensive. Others will also come along but now that the market has all but decided the top three or four, Chromecast and Roku will be the clear leaders.
