TouchID support in LDS Tools sync

For the sync functionality, is there any chance the iOS version could be updated to support TouchID in iOS 8 on supported devices (iPhone 5s, 6, and 6+ currently, with more coming soon)? My password is a bit of a hassle to type into a touch screen, so it would be nice to be able to use this instead.
