LDS Tools update

So... our clerks spent a few hours Sunday updating callings and contact info in MLS; once done, we all refreshed our LDS Tools app and didn't see any updates; it's now Wednesday and I still can't see anything they changed Sunday. Is this normal? If not, do you have any suggestions for us? (Yes, they saved their work, lol).

What is the OS for LDS Tools so I can move this thread to the correct forum?

The typical update time is a just a few minutes from MLS to CDOL and CMIS. And just as fast from CDOL and CMIS to the Directory. Have you checked the Directory online to see if the updates made it there? If the changes are not reflected in the Directory then the clerk should check CDOL. If the callings are not updated in CDOL then the changes did not get sent. If they are there, then the problem is with the LDS Tools sync.

My guess is that this is an iOS problem. Toward the end of my use of an iPod Touch, membership information would go as long as several weeks without changing, and then would update, while the Android folks never had a problem and were updated within a day.

I only had an iTouch, but even the iPhone users were frustrated about it.

Yep. That's exactly right. I have an iPhone and its sooooo slow!

Do the updates show now in CDOL or lds.org/directory? There were issues with processing MLS changes this weekend and they didn't run until Monday afternoon/evening.

Yep. Just showed up-- not sure if it was due to a re-try on the data update on my iPhone or if it was because of the MLS changes that you mention. But I'm glad! :)
