Photo Upload Permissions

Who has access to upload photos other than their own? Bishopric members and clerks can snap a photo and upload, but can that permission be assigned to others?

For example we have called a "ward photographer" and we want to give her the ability to quickly snap a photo and attach it to their LDS profile. Is this possible to give that particular person the ability to upload on behalf of others?

Thank you

The ability to upload photos for households other than your own is reserved to administrators in the Directory. The list of administrators can be found in the "Callings with Administrative Access" section of Roles and Responsibilities. The only calling that would seem to fit what you are describing is the standard calling of "Website Administrator." If the bishop chooses to give that calling to someone, then that person can upload photos for anyone in the ward.

Note that giving someone that calling will also make them an administrator for Calendar, Newsletter, and Lesson Schedules; it's a calling that comes with quite a bit of administrative power.

There's no way to give the ability to upload photos to a person by name or specific assignment; aside from the bishopric and clerks, only a Website Administrator has the ability to do that.

Thank you for the quick response. We'll have to take that information into consideration with this position.

Neither I, as Website Administrator, nor our Ward Exec. Secretary have access to upload pictures for anyone other than our own families when using LDS Tools. From the website we can both do those uploads, but the camera icon does not appear above pictures for other ward members for either of us. Should we be able to, or is this option reserved for Bishops, Counselors and Clerks?
