If I update my personal information in LDS Tools, will it update my info in MLS?

Not as far as I can tell. You can go online to LDS.org and update your phone or email address. That will flow back to MLS. But right now I don't think anything you do in LDS Tools updates anything else.

And if you need to update your physical address, your clerk will have to do it.

I had not noticed it before but you can edit your contact information in LDS Tools and it does transfer to lds.org (which means that it will also get to MLS eventually). I just tried it. It showed up in the Directory on lds.org immediately.

That, of course, is true. There is no way to edit your address in LDS Tools, only phone numbers, email addresses and visibility settings.

Progress! It's a connected world.

Perhaps you can explain how one edits the visibility settings in LDS Tools. I cannot find any way to do so.

At least on the Android version, you edit the household, then when in Edit mode, you scroll down to the visibility settings (I'm guessing you didn't think to scroll down so far, since the visibility settings are right by the data fields on the web version). Tapping on the Personal or Household visibility sections brings up an additional list that lets you set visibility for individual items for the individual or household.

In my Android version, 2.3.1, I cannot edit anything. I cannot update beyond that version - unfortunate.

I've got 2.3.1 as well. Since I'm not a clerk anymore I can't edit anything but my own household. But when I view a member of my household there is a pencil-like icon in the toolbar at the top (next to the Share icon). It's easy to miss and I didn't notice it until I was looking for some way to edit. Pressing that icon opens the edit screen.

Nope, I don't have that either. My wife does on her phone, but I don't on my phone - strange.

I'm seeing the same thing as eblood66. Not sure why you're not. Perhaps your data is old?

Either that or it's a bug - perhaps related to your calling.
