Using gmail in lds tools

Samsung phone GT-I9100 Android version 2.3.5
"Set up email" opens when push an email in LDS Tools, ward directory. I have gmail installed and working on this phone. How do I get LDS Tools to use gmail and not set up a new email?

Are you going to an individual in the direcory and clicking on their e-mail address?
If so, it should give you the option of "Complete action using" and then it list the different ways of conecting i.e. Gmail, text messaging etc...

I'm going to an individual in the directory and clicking on their e-mail address.
I installed LDS Tools on my Samsung phone GT-I9300 Android version 4.0.4.
I do get the " Complete action using" Compose Email & Compose Gmail & check box -Use by default for this action.
We reinstalled LDS Tools on the other phone and do not get "Complete action using". We get "Set up email".

I have the same problem. Did you every solve it?
