  1. Sign in to LDS.org, and use the Tools menu to go to Maps
  2. In the main dropdown in the upper left corner of the Maps page, choose "My Ward and Stake"
  3. In the Directory, click on your own household name.
  4. If the current location is "Unverified", this will pop up a card that looks something like this:
    map-verify.png
    map-verify.png (18.68 KiB) Viewed 1416 times
  5. Click Move or Edit.
  6. "Edit" produces this option, which is useful if the location of the marker is already correct. You can simply use the dropdown to choose "Member verified location":
    map-edit.png
    map-edit.png (22.1 KiB) Viewed 1416 times
  7. "Move" produces this option, which is useful if the marker is close and needs to be slightly adjusted:
    map-move.png
    map-move.png (23.68 KiB) Viewed 1416 times
  8. If the marker location is currently "Unmapped" then there will be only one option "Place" which allows you to click on a location on the map to place the marker there.
  9. After doing any of the above, the location status will be "Member-Verified".
