Printing Large format maps

Postby kd4tgc » Wed May 02, 2012 7:28 pm

Is there a way to print out a large format street level map of a ward for emergency communications?

All i need on the map are the ward boundaries and and the meetinghouse location.

Any Suggestions.

Questions that can benefit the larger community should be asked in a public forum, not a private message.

I would just add that those threads are mostly about trying to print household names as well as boundaries. If you only need boundaries, your clerk can ask church headquarters for a large-format map. The one we got for the asking is about 36 X 42 inches. (I don't know if the meetinghouse would be included, since ours is outside our map's boundaries. But it would be easy to draw that in by hand.)

Depending on the size of your ward's area, that printed map may be scaled right for your planned use.
