And just to keep this thread on topic, I tried 'print preview' from my browser and the custom callings retained the star icon next to them so the original problem is indeed fixed.
Yes, new menu items are colored yellow. The Access Table link is not new, but it did move from the Help menu. The version number doesn't really mean anything, you will always be using the newest version. We are considering starting a beta program in the future, where you could choose to use beta functionality and provide feedback to help improve the application, but that isn't in place yet.
