Report on past bishops

#1

Post by marcfisher »

Is anyone aware of a way to run a report looking at who in the stake had served in the past as a bishop? I know that past bishops show on their record that they have been ordained as a bishop, but I can't find a way to run a report that pulls each of them into a consolidated report. Is there a way?

I do not know if you would be able to run a custom report in MLS. In the historical section, CDOL will show you who has served as bishop in a local unit. But you would have to look at each unit individually, and you would not catch anyone who served elsewhere.

As you mentioned, it is shown on the membership record. If you started with a list of high priests in LDS Tools and clicked on each name . . . . Alas, a very manual process.

You can pull this off with LCR custom reports. Your unit isn't on the beta, so you will have to wait until that time.

Neither is mine. The anticipation is killing me...
