Family History/ Activity Report/ Leader and Clerk Resources

#1

Post by alfredblaikiegoddard »

I received a bulletin named "Family History in your Leadership Calling: A Hidden Gem to Aid Your Ministry" In this bulletin it states that in Leader and Clerk Resources under reports there should now be a new field for Family History with a sub tab Activity Report. This in not showing up in our system. I am the High Councilor over Temple and Family History in the Mound Fort Stake. It also wasn't available for my stake president. So has this really been released yet< Thank you.

Hopefully they'll extend access to the various Stake Temple and Family History Consultants too.

Is this data related to personal Temple Worship.... hopefully it's never available to the HC OR to Family History Consultants, if that's the case.

No. It is a FAMILY HISTORY Activity Report -- personal temple worship is never reported on.

It can be generated at the ward or stake level, and includes data such as:
  • The total number of members who have submitted a name YTD compared to the previous year.
  • The percentage of the first four generation ancestors in the tree compared to the previous year.
  • The number of individuals who have logged in to FamilySearch from the start of the current year to the end of the previous month compared to the same time the previous year.
  • The number of individuals who have completed at least one of three activities (adding an ancestor to Family Tree, adding a Memory, or Indexing) from the start of the current year to the end of the previous month compared to the same time the previous year.
That said, although plans are in the works and it can be seen by a limited number of people at this point, I don't think it is broadly available yet.

Priesthood Leaders and RS President now have access to the Family History Activity Report.

Consultants should have access in the future.

I am an assistant ward clerk and also a ward temple and family history consultant-lead. When I select either role I can see the report. However, a WTFHC-lead in another ward cannot see the report. I think the issue is they cannot log into LCR site yet.

They should have access as the access table shows they should.

He/they might want to make sure their calling is entered in correctly.

When I check under Stake T&FHC-I I have access and when I choose Ward T&FHC-I I also have access.

And wait 24 hours after any change.

Is the number of members submitting a name unique submitters, or is it just listing a total number of members. In other words, if one person submitted a number each month, is that person listed once each month or just once in the year to date.
