Assigning Visiting Teaching to YSAs under 18

Hello!

I serve as the ward clerk for a student YSA ward (and YSAs wards seem to be where a lot of tech problems happen.)

The issue is that the Relief Society President cannot assign, using LCR, teachers or assignments to two sisters in our ward who are currently under the age of 18. They do not show up on the list of Visiting Teaching households, nor can they be manually assigned Visiting Teaching on their member records page.

Need we assign them their visiting teaching by good, old fashioned paper and pencil, or is there a way to put the assignment in LCR?

Is there a way to remedy this situation?

It appears that the developers were given a rule that a sister must be 18 to be assigned visiting teachers. The developer said he would submit the rule for review because of this situation but we've not heard whether any change is coming. You can use the Feedback link in LCR to submit another request to allow this situation.
