Non-standard home teaching assignments.

I am the HP secretary. We have existing non-standard home teaching assignments such as:
  • Husband & Wife
  • Husband & Wife and another priesthood holder
I have read other threads and the solution to the first case is to create a new partnership, first adding the HP then add the wife.
I found nothing for the second case.
Once the HP and wife are assigned I am not able to edit the companionship to add another companion.

I have seen references to the Handbook, but I am not able to view this particular section of the handbook (non-standard partnerships such as these.)

As the HP Group secretary do I have the permissions accomplish this?
If so, how is it done?
Thank you.

You can see everything about Home Teaching that is in the Handbook, since it is completely documented in Handbook 2. The section that talks about exceptional circumstances is HB2, 7.4.2. The only exception where a priesthood holder's wife is allowed to be part of a companionship is noted in the last paragraph of that section:
7.4.2 wrote:With approval from the bishop in exceptional cases, Melchizedek Priesthood leaders and Relief Society leaders may assign a husband and wife as a companionship where visits by a couple are needed.
The reason you aren't able to create the second companionship you mentioned is that it is not mentioned as an exception. The only relevant exception is husband and wife doing visits as a couple, not with a third person. In general, the LCR software implements policies as described in the Handbook. It doesn't matter what your calling is -- no one can create a HT companionship such as you describe.
