Edit quarterly attendance form

I was recently called to Elders Quorum Presidency. I brought up first quarter 2016 to enter January attendance and could view blank quarterly report but was unable to edit and enter actual member attendance. Any ideas why this would occur. All other reports I have been able to edit report to enter weekly and monthly statistics.

Quarterly attendance is reported only for the last month of each quarter. So Q1 2016 will report on March 2016 attendance. Since we're just at the beginning of February, it's far too early to report that attendance yet.

You're welcome (and even encouraged) to track attendance for every month so that you can be on top of knowing what members of your quorum need extra support. But the official quarterly reporting is only done after the quarter ends, and then only for the last month of the quarter.

As far as I'm aware only the Ward Clerk, or maybe a member of the Bishopric can fill in the actual Quarterly Report.

The Elders Quorum Presidency can only fill in the HT visits for their Quorum, or assign Companionships/Households under their stewardship.

Good point. I was focused more on the timing, but although many leaders can see the Quarterly Report, only a small set of people can fill it in (although I don't think bishopric counselors can fill it in -- the bishop is the only bishopric member; an assistant ward clerk can also fill it in).

Also, if you're looking to enter in attendance on a person-by-person basis, there's no way to do that in Leader and Clerk Resources currently (we don't know if there are any plans for that in the future). It's just a final number of people attending, based on whatever is recorded on your printed rolls, for the month of March.

Just to clarify: it is number of people attending whose records are in your ward.

I want to make sure I understand this correctly as my ward is barely starting to use LCR correctly. I'm in a new Relief Society Presidency that hasn't had much training regarding the quarterly report yet.

The president of the quorum or auxiliary (or whomever they delegate to i.e. secretary) counts everyone who attended at least one quorum/auxiliary meeting in the reporting month (March, June, September, December). People counted must have their records physically in our ward. They must give this number to either the Bishop or a ward clerk who can enter the number into the quarterly report. There is no way for the quorum or auxiliary to enter the number directly themselves.

Tracking individual attendance online is not possible.

Our bishop is requesting this number during PEC this Sunday before church. I don't think we can give an accurate number until after our church block is over.

Thank you for answering all the LCR questions on this forum. I've been able to troubleshoot most of the questions from both my current and old ward's leadership because of all of your hard work.

Yes, don't forget sisters in primary and other callings (stake and full-time missionaries). The exact text from the roll is:
Those who are unable to attend Sunday Relief Society meeting because of a Church assignment are to be recorded as attending (including full-time missionaries from the ward or branch).

Correct

I would agree with you. As a ward clerk, I usually remind the secretaries that the last Sunday of the month (after church, of course) is probably the easiest time to remember to send the numbers to me.

You could give him preliminary numbers. I'd suspect that by the last Sunday, the number isn't going to change very much. However, it does mean you have to do that part twice.
