How to Find Record Number information for an Excommunicated Member
I have a couple that was excommunicated from the church for polygamy 23 years ago. They would like to reapply for church membership. How do I find their record numbers?

Well, you don't. The bishop, stake president, or clerk requests their disciplinary council documents by full name and birthdate. When those documents arrive, the MRNs will probably be printed on them.
These documents can be requested here:

The MRN is indeed included as a "reference number" toward the bottom, which can be used to record the reconvened council at the same website. (It's small and hard to see, so look carefully...)drepouille wrote:...When those documents arrive, the MRNs will probably be printed on them.[/url]
