Adding FT Missionaries as HT Companions

Section 7.4.3 of Handbook 2 provides the method for assigning full-time missionaries as home teachers. However, their records are not in the unit so they do not show up when using "Add new companion" in LCR>Home Teaching. How can they be added as companions for record keeping.

One of the developers responded to a similar question in another thread. You can read the entire thread for more details but it appears that there is no provision for this currently. You can provide feedback to request a change using a Feedback on any page of LCR or you can see if your stake president or mission president wants to escalate the issue through their priesthood leaders.

Section 7.4.3 of Handbook 2 provides the method for assigning full-time missionaries as home teachers.

"With approval from the mission president, leaders may consider asking full-time missionaries to go home teaching with Melchizedek Priesthood holders on a limited basis."

Note the operatives words "with" and "limited". "With" implies to me that the missionaries accompany a ward member on a HT visit and not be the HT companionship. You can set up a companionship with just one HT, right?

Making an assignment might violate the spirit of "limited".
