Until LCR is changed, that's going to have to be done for each household that moves into the ward that does not have a Elder as a HoH. I suspect GSC is going to quickly learn to push that task back to the ward.

In my ward (where we have only handful of high priests), it is common to have elders and HPs as companions. And the decisions about any changes in HT assignments are done together with EQ and HP. The EQ president has so far been given the main responsibility of organizing HT. He was surprised, when he noticed that he couldn't see HP districts.

mfmohlma, did you submit feedback about this? An adjust in this matter would be very helpful.
We have this problem too. Not only can they not see the other assignments, the priesthood leader can not report the HT for the other quorum (or group). In our ward, the HPGL has been given the assignment of coordinating and reporting the HT visits. He is unable to report those assigned to EQ districts. If one of them is on vacation - that puts the ward in a bind for reporting purposes (especially when the quarterly report is due, the EQ president is camping, neither of the counselors can use a computer... and so on).

In that case, you need to assign all the HT districts to the HP Group (even if the companionships are elders or home teach elders). Then he'll be able to see everything and report on everything.

Don't forget the default administrators of your unit have complete management access to all home and visiting teaching and can make those entries for you in those extreme situations. The default administrators are the clerk, assistant clerk, bishop/branch president, and the two counselors. I don't know if the executive secretary retains this administrative capability as he has in other LDS.org tools but I would think he does. So you can always go to the ward clerk or executive secretary to get the data input or as a last resort ask a bishopric counselor to help. If you have to ask the bishop to input the data then I guess you're really in a bind.

Thank you. The MP is in the process of restructuring all of the home teaching companionships and assignments so they will all be assigned to the HP Group districts. If LCR is ever changed so the MP leaders can report all the home teaching, then it will be changed back.

Thank you again.
