Moving membership records of missionaries to home wards

The Missionary Online Recommendation System includes, as part of the paperwork, information about the permanent/home ward and address for prospective missionaries. In a YSA ward, members who leave on missions generally need to be manually transferred back to their home ward when they leave on their missions.

Unfortunately, clerks don't have access to the recommendation system by default, and transferring records isn't always remembered by the bishop as part of the process when there are several missionaries in the process at once – the information doesn't always flow well.

To further complicate things, once a member is on his mission (if the record doesn't get moved in time), he can't usually be contacted with the contact info on his record...

Would it be possible for the recommendation system to automatically pull those records into their permanent ward if they're not already there, when they go to their missions?

The thing is that not all missionaries move back before leaving - especially converts.

One trick you can try. I used to use it eons ago when I was a ward clerk. Move them out and in the comments write "regroup with parents". (Do check and make sure the parents are members first.)
