Problem with head of household when requesting membership records online

I think the ability to request membership records on the lds.org website is wonderful. I noticed a small problem that I hope can be addressed in the future. We received the records of a woman but not her family at first. Later we requested the record of her husband and children (whose records were all together in the previous ward). When I chose the family to which they would be joined I chose the wife, who was then made head of household. I had to split out the husband to a new household (from within the MLS program on the church computer) and then rejoin him to the household in MLS in order to fix it. If this was done with MLS the husband would have automatically become the head of household (as I wanted and expected).

Thanks for highlighting this challenge you encountered. We'll focus on providing a solution so you don't have to go to MLS to fix this kind of problem in the future.
