Beta Directory: Slow load time

Beta Directory: Slow load time
I find the existing directory load much faster than the new, beta directory. The old directory tends to load in 3-4 seconds, whereas the new beta directory takes 7-11 seconds. It's quite noticeable. I hope the speeds can improve.
