I exported a ward directory. I have a sister in my ward who got divorced last year. Everything was finalized in December. We changed the record in mid-January.

When I exported the ward directory file, in the FAMILY NAME column, her married name is still listed, but in the COUPLE NAME Column and the HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD column, she is properly listed with her maiden name. Is there somewhere in LCR or MLS that something more needs to be changed so that she shows up only with her maiden name, which she switched back to after the divorce was final?

There are 4 name fields in MLS:

• On the individual record: Full Name (has to match legal name per Handbook 1), Preferred name, and Maiden name.
• On the household record there's the Household name.

You need to check all of them, but I'd guess the household name is the one tripping you up.

Check to make sure the household name is correct. This name can be viewed in LCR but it isn't obvious. Find the member in LCR and view her profile. Then select the Household tab and click the 'Edit Household Name' below the names of the household members. After clicking the button you can view (and correct if necessary) the household name.

That was the trick. Found and changed the household name in lcr.
